On Thursday, 4/17, we will be having our first general meeting in MS 5203 from 6:00-7:00 PM. If you are interested in learning about our undergraduate organization, be sure to attend this meeting! We will be introducing our group's mission in detail.
We are also pleased to announce that we will be having a guest speaker, Dr. Sonya Gabrielian, MD, MPH, a clinical psychiatrist and health services researcher at the West Los Angeles Department of Veteran Affairs and the UCLA Semel Institute. Her clinical work and research is focused on the intersection between social vulnerabilities (e.g. poverty and homelessness) and mental health.
Lastly, our Bruinwalk cast-signing project will be available for signatures at the meeting. Sign our poster and be entered into a free drawing for a $50 prize! More details will be given at the meeting.
OMUA welcomes all students to join, regardless of year or major. Come out to learn more about us and become involved with Operation Mend!
